OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT OF EU PROFILE IN THE FIELD OF DEFENCE CAPABILITIES. EUROPEAN DEFENCE FUND

This article brings to attention one of the main developments recorded in context European defence cooperation, namely establishment Defence Fund (EDF). Conceived as an initiative aimed at contributing financial support cooperation projects fields capability development and research, EDF represents innovation that began operate starting with 2021, offering additional perspectives for strengthening Common Security Policy. Although it is a new initiative, was preceded by preparatory measures which necessary procedural framework mechanisms were defined. From this perspective, analysis developed deepens thesis regarding positive impact sustainability field defence.
